  1. Crate.

Do not listen to anyone that tells you to rub his nose in it. That is ridiculous and has no logic.

  2. You need to start house training him to go outside.  You need to take him out every hour or so to go pee.  He should go out about an hour after he eats and taken for a walk which usually helps them poo.  You need to be consistant with this so he gets the idea he is suppose to go outside not inside.  The diapers are only confusing him because he doesn't realize he is suppose to be going outside to eliminate himself.  Get busy and start training him.

  3. is he a pup well if so he will grow out of it :)

  4. Small dogs are hard to house break.  Sounds like your giving the dog to much freedom.  Get your dad to buy a small wire crate for the puppy to be in at night and when you don't want to supervise him.  When he is with you in the house keep him on a short leash and hold it or hook him to something.  Move him around the house when you move around the house

TAKE HIM OUT TO GO POTTY EVERY HOUR!  On the leash.  Go to the same place each time.  Wait with him until he goes or 2 minutes.  Give him a treat if he goes.  Take him back in and hold or hook the leash.  Work at it for 4 to 6 weeks to break his habit.  Get him/her spayed or neutered at age 5 or 6 mos that can help too.

  5. Take him out every hour.

  6. Hi

The good news is this is a

common problem for dog owners, and the ***really*** good news is there

    are answers!

One of the first things you'll want to do is effectively remove all

odors from areas where she has had an accident.  A dog may be

triggered to urinate indoors by the smell of the spot where he

previously went.  A dog's sense of smell is 200 times greater than a

    human nose!

Two well known products that are good odor neutralizers are Nature's

Miracle Stain & Odor Remover, and Un-Duz-It.  Vets can also recommend

    efficient products.

When cleaning up accidents in your home, Do not use ammonia-based

products, as their odor resembles urine and may draw your dog back to

urinate in the same spot again.

When outside choose the spot were you want her to do her business

carefully and she should be taken out on leash to the same designated

    spot each time.

This is not walk time or play time; stand in approximately the same

spot and wait for your dog to eliminate. If she does, praise her

enthusiastically. Don?t immediately rush back into the house with her.

Because she will learn to hold on and not eliminate so that she can

get more time outdoors. Instead walk a few minutes or give her a

    minute or two of playtime.

When she has successfully peed and pooped outside, don?t fully clean

up the spot, but leave a trace of urine or f***s to provide a scent

that will remind her what she is supposed to do there.

There may be an occasional accident in the house. If there is one

don?t hit, don't yell, and don't rub her nose in it.

Dogs cannot make a connection between your punishment and earlier behavior.

The result of hitting, yelling and punishment will eventually lead to

her being afraid of you.  Just clean up the mess without making a

fuss, and apply one of the odor eliminators/neutralizers.

If you actually catch your dog in the act of eliminating inside the

house, interrupt her and take her outside to the proper place (without

harsh words or punishment). If she eliminates outside, praise her.

Remember to be patient, some dogs take longer than others to

    housebreak.

Learn to use the same simple words for accidents and for praise.

"Nah nah" or "No", for accidents.

"GOOD GIRL" or "GOOD DOG" or "GOOD (name)"  Praise with joy and

    enthusiasm in your voice.  Smile!

Eventually you can get her to go on demand, by teaching her simple

words for elimination. "Go chichi", "Go Pupu", "Go potty".

If you are consistent, watchful, and use the crate, a dog can usually

be housebroken in couple of weeks.

    good luck

  7. my mom has a shih tzu and it peed in the house alot they are hard to potty train. as for pooping rub his noes in it i guees that works!!

  8. When it goes p**p in the house say "NO"! And then take it out side and say "GO POTTY".ok  if  u want 2 stop ur dog from pooping in the house than take it out side 2 per hour and let it go 2 the bathroom i hope this helped buh bie

  9. I agree with the above answer, great advice.  You must work with your dogs & teach them where they should be going.  Make sure you clean up the previous messes in your house with a product such as Simple Solution or Natures miracle.  Read the directions on the bottle. The dog may be smelling the previous messes and think that inside is where it should be going.

Also, praise after the dog goes potty outside....immediately after he goes.  Make a huge deal of it, maybe even bring some special treats outside that he will get after he goes.  I used small pieces of hot dogs and the dogs only got them when they went outside and immediately after they went.  It took awhile as any type of training does...you must also be consistent.

    Good luck!!

  10. I have just got a puppy recently. The way I trained him was crate training. Here's a few tips on crate training and house training:

1.Try to teach them that their crate is a good place. Reward them when you place them in the crate. This is teaching them, that a treat comes with good crate behavior. Always keep your dog in the crate, unless you can keep a good eye on him.

    2. Another option, if you do not want to place your dog in the kennel all of the time, hook his leash to your belt loop, this way he can not go off and use the restroom somewhere, and you don't know about it.

3.Always take him outside, after rough play, after he eats or drinks, after being let out of his crate, after he wakes up after a night, or if he shows signs of having to use the restroom(sniffing, staring at you, whining)

4.Don't ever hit your dog, or rub his nose in his mess. This will just teach the dog to be afraid of you.

5.Don't feed him or give him to much water, before you plan to put him in his cage.

6.Don't expect your dog to hold it's restroom, more than the age of the dog in months, plus one. But no dog should have to hold it's bladder more than a 7-8 hours.

7.Be patient!! That is the key, to housetraining. Of course if you get too overwelmed, you can always buy a book, or ask a professional trainer!

8.Always, when he goes to the bathroom ouside, give lots of praise and treats!!

    Good Luck!
