My dog woke up with a big turkey like giblet hanging from her neck ?

dont think its tumor and dont have vet money right now what can i do she dosent seem to be bothered but its just hangin and dangling?

Maybe a swollen neck? Has she gotton into a bee nest or anything that may have triggered the swelling? If so, then I advise you take her to the vet. When my dog got into a bees nest, it made her head and throat swell, and your dog will have to have an IV inserted in her.

dogs don't show pain like humans do. so it is very unlikely that you can really say it isn't bothering her/him. Call the vet work out a payment plan and go it's not good what ever it is and would like to walk around like that.

It's possible that what you're seeing is an abscess (infection). If she has had any recent trauma to the area like a bite wound or possibly playing with a stick that could have potentially lodged part of itself underneath her skin this would help cause the problem you're seeing.  

  

Unfortunately she needs to be seen by a Veterinarian. They can do a simple "tap" of the area with a needle and syringe to see if any puss is present underneath her skin. If there is they can simply lance (cut open) a small area and drain the area and prescribe antibiotics to ensure it doesn't come back.



If on the other hand it is a tumor or mass of some kind when they "tap" the area they won't get any puss back but will get back cells that can be then sent out to a Histology department to help determine the severity and type of mass.

If it is an allergic reaction as the girl above has described you should notice that her eyes and entire face are swollen. If she's a dog with short hair you may also notice hives along her body and she should be quite itchy.

it might be a swollen neck that is what happened to my dog just call the vet and I don't think they will charge you.
