My dog wont stop humping things???

Question

i know its normal, but hes a relentless humper!!! he humps every chance he gets. his favorite "toy" is a pillow and when i tried to take it away from him, he got all depressed. we got him neutered, but hes still humping. its nasty!! he even makes noises when hes getting off!!! and im sick of it!! any advice>

jeeeezzee he's just havin fun....lol, dont worry mine did that, but I smacked him on the nose, but not hard and told him no, i did it for a month, and he stopped

DRUM ROLL PLEASE!... get him fixed! horny mutts are easily resolved with a few snips!

A sharp loud noise (AT AT works with my dogs) when you see them doing the behavior will eventually correct it. You will need to be persistent. Since you've had him fixed I would also talk to your vet about it. They may have some training advice that would help.

Smacking him won't do anything but make him fearful of you.

sorry, this isn't due to s*x drive (dogs just aren't stupid enough to think a pillow is an appropriate mate).

it's most likely stress related. reduce the stress levels, reduce/eliminate the humping behavior.

it's *not* normal.
