  1. It could be a disorder where the dogs brain is to big for its skull and it keeps scratching itself common in cavaliers

  2. some information,may be helpful,http://www.homesecuredot.com,

  3. Add a fatty supplement to your dog's diet.

Not too much, you don't want your dog to get fat.

Put some vegetable oil on your dog's food.

  4. I think its allergies. I think your right :)  Take your dog to the Vet. and have her/him checked. God bless.

  5. well i have that problem too with my dog but he is allergic to stuff that i dont know but your dog could have that too or you should buy a special shampoo for dogs with sensitive skin and take him to the vet so the doctor could tell you what he has and he will give you pills and you should take him a shower alot and always bbrush his hair off

  6. I give my dogs a tin of sardines in oil once a week which is good for their skin and their coats. Make sure there are no flees, some dogsactuallyly have an allergy to flees and can suffer terribly. Flee collars only work on small dogs, but a good spot on flee treatment works wonderfully. To much beef in a dogs diets can be heating to their blood and will make some dogs scratch badly, try  feeding chicken based products instead and see if this helps.  Human type shampoos are too strong for dogs. Either dilute or use wool mix, there are also dog shampoos for dogs with sensitive skin. If non of this help please see your vet.

  7. I took my dog to the vet. He had the same problem. Vet said he had allergies. Vet told to me give him benadryl for children (tablets) 12.5 two times a day. He said benadryl on dogs only help a 30% but he also recommend this vitamin called omega 3 for dogs. You can get them at the vet office or at a pet store called "paws"  visit this website to read more about omega 3 for dogs   http://placervillevet.com/Omega_3_fatty_...

I hope this helps. He also recommended a medicated shampoo. Take your dog to the vet.
