My dogs have chewed the wood in front of my house and one of the fence posts. I am looking for repair options

The post is eaten around a metal support. I just want to fill in where the dogs have taken chunks out.

Hire a carpenter to replace the pieces that were eaten.  If they are structural you will likely have to replace the entire piece.  If not they may be able to piece something in.  Either way unless you have some carpentry experience you need to hire someone.
