My dogs mouth is swollen , what's the cause of it?

this morning when i got up my dogs mouth was very swollen , and i was wondering what is the cause and do i need to take her to the vets?

  1. Could be an allergy. Swelling is a common symptom.  


  2. Usually a swollen mouth or face is an allergic reaction to something.  You should take her to the vet.  They will probably give a benedryl injection, and possibly a steroid injection.

  3. There is NO way for to know the cause. It COULD be an insect sting or an allergic reaction to something. Call your vet and make an appointment.

  4. Might be a good time to take your pet to the vet.  It could be caused by a bee sting.  This just happened to my dog a few days ago.  

  5. it could be an allergic reaction to something, a while ago my 4 year old retrievers whole face was swollen, we took her to the vets and he told us to place and ice pack on it.
