Colette is a sweetie. She likes to cuddle. She has had heart failure for 4 months now and i noticed about 2 weeks ago that she was only able to use one side of her body. She now seems to be better. She is getting around better. Is there anything that can be done for her? I just don't want to prolong her suffering. thanks.

  1. Is she on meds (for the heart failure I mean)? Because if she isn't then she probably should be. I'm not really sure if there's anything you can do to help her except make sure she has everything she needs within her reach (lots of fresh fruit, maybe some vitamin c in her water), or put her down if you think she's suffering. I'm very sorry, she sounds adorable.

  2. She should be on medication for her heart problems and she may need treatment for the stroke (steroids). More information:

Is poor Colette alone? If so, please get her a same s*x friend. It's not fair to keep such social animals like rats alone.
