My download speed is 2.433 and my upload speed is 1.493 from Comcast is that good or low?

That is slow for either a hardwired PC or a laptop.  you can get much faster speeds with FIOS.  when you order you have a choice of 3 different down/up load speeds.  If your not sure you can always go to Verizon.net and click on "FIOS."  From there you will have your choice of phone/TV/Internet, for all the info you need.
