My dr told me my thyroid numbers were high,im gaining weight is it hypothy,or hyperty?

If you gaining weight normally is hypo, I don't understand the numbers are high. T3, T4 or what????

Can you be more specific in order to answer the right thing.

sounds like hypothyroidism to me.  Depends on the test they did.  My numbers come out high, and my thyroid is low.  And with hypothyroidism, your metabolism slows so you may gain weight.
