  1. Right. You have to start at a junior level. Once you've done that, you may get brought up a level. So if you live in Melbourne, maybe Dandenong stingrays etc. Afterwards, you might get higher and get involved in the TAC cup. Then AFL clubs might draft you. It depends. You need to be more detailed, if you were that passionate to play AFL. You'd give a much more  detailed description.

  2. How old are you? You definatly need to start with junior football, but if you are a little old for this the local clubs are always happy to take new players. Just about all have a reserves competition if you have not yet reached your potential or you could even check out "Recreational Footy"

    You should find whatever you are looking for here;

    Good Luck!

  3. Simple:

    If you are <18 and at school you need to get into the representative levels for your school - state players are picked up by feeder clubs to the AFL - serve time there and if you are a stand out - you will then be able to list yourself on the draft...

    if you are any good someone will pick you up.

    My friends that have achieved this include Cameroon Mooney - Paul Chapman - Wayne Carey

    Good luck

  4. Get into a good u/18's team and ask your coach to work with you a bit coz you want to get nominated for the draft.

  5. you'll have a huge advantage if you play for a team based in or near a capital city, and one that has scouts visit their games on an often basis. i am in country WA

  6. depends where you live

  7. Get  drafted by an AFL team.

    That is the only way you are ever going to play AFL football.

  8. Need more info... have you played before?

    Practice Practice Practice.

    Build incredible stamina and speed up.

    Watch a lot of footy and learn what works and what doesnt. Apply the positives to your game.

    Good luck x
