My drink was spiked... can it be traced?

About five years ago i was seeing this guy. He was addicted to s*x i think. He was very attractive and charming so we used to meet up occasionally probably about four times in total.

Once he asked me to go to his flat. I travelled up there and we went to go and buy some alcohol. He smoked weed and offered me some, i smoked a tiny bit but he knew i didn't like it much. Then he made me a drink which was blue in colour. I asked what it was, because we had been to buy drink because he said he didn't have any in the flat!! He said it was a special cocktail. I didn't think anything of it because we had been together intimately lots of times, why would he need to drug me, and i trusted him. Anyway the next thing i know is i take about one sip and wake up the next morning, really groggy and hungover!!??

When i looked this up on google, it said that some drugs that are put in drinks make it go blue. He obviously put something in my drink because i wasn't high, or drunk.

Can it be traced in my hair dna? Or is it too late, its been about 4-5 years maybe longer!

Any answers would be great.

Thanks

  1. I think it's too late.

  2. What a scumbag erm i don't think it can be traced. However if you speak to the police it might stop him doing it to another girl if he has done it to you he will do it to someone else.

  3. I doubt very much that you can trace it. Although if you're worried about this happening again, you can buy these little plastic things to go in drinks bottles to prevent them from being spiked. Or... just don't accept drinks from guys or leave your drink unattended.

    Not meaning to preach...

  4. its not gunna be traced now... thats just way too long

  5. It is too late, you should have called the police after you work up the next morning and realized something was wrong. I hope you never saw this guy again.

  6. It is definitely too late.  you would have to have done it within a couple months at very most.

As for being blue, I drink a lot of blue curacao... which is obviously blue, and pretty common.  I wouldn't definitely consider the color to be a clue anyhow.

  7. it is highly doubtful that if you were drugged your DNA would be found in the location.

But having said that, you should go to the police even if it has be 4-5 years. you probably wont get a result, but should it happen to anyone else, by this guy, your statment will help her case. or he might have already got a record since then for doing that. since it probably wasnt his first time, or last.

Rape cases are taken extremly seriously, no matter how long it has been.

  8. its far too late. You should have went and got blood tests straight away.

  9. Sounds like he slipped a few Roofies in your drink, they are very effective

i use them all the time

  10. Too late -

  11. NO IT CANT BE DETECTED NOW ITS TOO LATE

  12. if your hair is REALLY long, then there is a chance its still in there, but hair grows fast, something like .5in/month, so after 4-5 years you might have already cut that part off.....

  13. No, sorry, chemicals like that cannot alter your DNA, and although some traces of ingested chemicals can be found in the hair - 4 to five years has gotten rid of that hair.

  14. yeah, prolly too long ago, i think hair is really only traceable for up to 6 months

  15. talk to the police

  16. yeah, it would be too late. Some drugs can not be traced within hours, and some maybe 2-3 days.

There are some types of drugs that do things like that such as GHB. Many users of GHB do things like this. If a guy drugs a girl, the girl blacks out and the guy would have s*x with her. This is called date rape. If you feel you are a victim of date rape, you should contact a community clinic or join a group who may have gone through the same experiences like you.

Good luck, and I hope you are alright. Also, Stay alert!
