Is there anything I can do? I don't have my birth certificate or social security card with me.

  1. The answer is yes you will be able to make your flight.

If they catch it when you check in you may have to go thru extra screening to include your checked bags and your carry on bags as you process thru the checkpoint.

Make sure you show up at the ticket counter at least one hour before your flight departs and earlier if it's a large airport.

  2. uh ohhhhhhh

  3. You do NOT need an ID to go through airport security. This is a misconception MANY people have.

All they have to do is let security know they only have their temporary IDs and they will be subject to extra security screening.
