I got a DUI in 2003 did probation, community hours, paid my fine and got the certificate to proved all this. Then 2 years after that (in 2004) I got another DUI and had it suspend again (not looking good ar all). paid all fines and showed up for all court dates and paid fines. how long do i have to wait to get a driver's license. I live in Texas now can i at least get an state ID?

  1. I sure hope you don't. We don't want you harming our families here. I hope you have learned your lesson,  please find alternative to getting home after you have been drinking.

  2. Not untill GA reports you as in good standing

  3. You probably can get a driver's license in Texas now, but you shouldn't be able to.

  4. Probably not but you can check this link...

  5. Wow people can be so unforgiving, not really knowing you at ALL & knowing so little about the whole situation! Nobody is perfect, we all have done something dumb in our lifetime, & for the most part people learn alot from they`re mistakes, that`s what life is all about "learning". If not for second chances, where would any of us be? I`m sure you`ve definately learned from all of this. My cousin (who has really grown up & completely turned his life around & is a truly good person) could`nt get his license back until 8 year`s, but I`m pretty sure you can still get an ID. You will get your license though in due time, I`m sure it`s a pain not having it. Your second chance will come, Good Luck :) Angie
