How do i fix this,my son is going to be starting school soon and needs his computer.

  1. Which IP address?  

    The IP address to the WWW from the ISP?  Or the IP address for the Priveate network to your laptop?

    If your laptop is not getting an IP address, we can help you...

    If your not getting a "real" IP address from the ISP, your going to have to go to them.  

    Do you have any other computers in the house that work?
