My dvd burner doesn't burn dvds. Hi,My dvd burner is burning cds normaly but i am having a problem

Hi,My dvd burner is burning cds normaly but i am having a problem with burning the dvds. It says that it has a problem writting to a disk. Also it says that I should clean the disk remove all fingerprints atc...I tried several new blank discs and I get the same problem. Anything that would lead to solve this problem will be appreciated. Thank you very muchOndraP.s. I am using "sonic record now" version 6.5.3 I've tried older version of nero before and I had similar problem
