My dvd duplicator

Question

my duplicator will not read my dvd.....i recorded a dvd on a dvd recorder and now am trying to make copies of the dvd i recorded....i put it in and it says that the master is bad and ejects it...a few times it has said that the blank dvd is not long enough which its only a hour on th emaster and the blanks are 2 hours long....any solutions?
