I want to burn a movie into a cd (i dont have a dvd burner) and watch it on my dvd player. If its says on the box "plays windows media", is it possible to do this? or does it have to be burned on a dvd? If it is possible, what file extension do i need to burn on the cd: avi, mpeg, ....? Thank you very much for your help.

  1. The manual should tell you whether it is CD or DVD compatible for windows media (could be either or both), but it would be "wma" if it's audio and "wmv" if video and audio. It should work similar to MP3.
