My dvd recorder has stopped working its jus got this fuzzy line across the tv, ive tried switching it off and?

nothing happens? has anyone got any ideas?

Reset the box.  Unplug it for about 30-60 second.  Plug it back in and let it reboot.  If that still doesn't work exchange it for a new one.  Most cable boxes are refurbs.

i had a similar thing with my on digital box

unplug it for 30 Min's to let the box discharge

try pushing the scart leads firmly back into the tv AND the dvd player

Try Swapping Scart leads on the back of the tv. if not resolved you may have to replace your scart lead. if problem still persist you will need to get this repaired by an engineer.if you are using a dvd player with 1080p upscale and using a hdmi lead check connections and make sure you try different resolution setup on the dvd player.
