Question:

My dwarf crepe myrtles have not bloomed this summer and no insects can be found. Any suggestions?

They were planted 3 years ago and have always had beautiful blooms. Nothing has changed in their environment.

  1. Around here, none have bloomed yet.  Perhaps they are delayed where you live due to weather conditions, even something that happened during the winter (dryer than usual? wetter than usual?)  If you did not prune them and they are getting the same amount of sun then they have no excuse not to bloom.  Just be patient a couple more weeks.
