It's been about 12 hours since he escaped, do you think he go in one of the air vents or something?

  1. When my hamsters would run away I would put out a "have-a-heart" trap with a bit of their favorite food (banana chips). By morning I would always find him in there munching away on his snacks!

you should be able to find the traps at walmart

  2. Check where you last sat, it will inevitably be under there in a thick pile of sticky red and brown hairy goo.

    Hope I helped!

  3. put hamster food around the house and just wait and see if it comes back

  4. I lost my dwarf hamster 2 times. I found mine under the fridge. They will only be under things and they will  only be on the floor that there cage is on. Good Luck Finding them!!! They are soooo cute arent they!

  5. leave food out in open spaces of your house.

when they get hungry enough it will smell it and eat it.

So just keep an eye on those piles.

Or get a HUMANE animal trap, and just wait for her to get caught.

    Remember, HUMANE!

  6. that happened to my hamster. i put him into his little roller ball thingy. and then when it was time to take him out he ran away. it turns out he fell down a small hole in the corner of my bedroom and i found him in a laundry basket! anyways i hope u find ur hamster.

  7. Dwarf Hamsters are smart and most likely not go in little cracks or vents. If you want to find your hamster look at night then it will be awake. Make sure no other pets are running around and all dooors are closed. It could escape your house and get hurt. If you hear noises in a room try putting food or something your hamster loves. I lost my hamster before and we found him in my closet. Good Luck finding it!

  8. don't worry, I'm sure hes OK. just get a humane squirrel trap from the hardware store, and put a little bit of peanut butter on the pedal.

  9. He could have but look in spaces that you think he/she can't possibly be. For example, under low beds or pianos. Set out a trail of food from each room in your house leading to the cage or a jar if your house has more than one floor. Check that it hasnt crawled into a fireplace or under a radiator. Go around your house at night, switch off the lights and listen really carefully in each room. Hope you find him/her. :)
