My eBay account has been suspended.. please help me?

hi, i just got suspended from ebay 2 weeks ago for no apparent reason, and they are horrible the live help is decent but they tell me ebay security will contact me asap and they never have yet!! What should i do? can i just create a new account with a different phone number, address and credit card? What should i do about this, should i just get over it and move to overstock? thanks for your help.

I'm always suspicious when someone says "for no apparent reason" because I find that these people are usually criminals selling fake handbags, shill bidding, etc.  They usually know exactly what they did wrong.

Let's assume for the moment this is not you.  Let's assume someone took over your account.  Go to eBay's Live Help and tell them that.  When you tell them that, their Account Security people will call you.  When they do, confirm the phone number you had on file.  If you gave them fake info, then of course they are trying to call you at your fake number, which is not going to make your phone ring.

Account Security fixes accounts immediately.  They do not "call back later".  It's done right away, in real time, 24 hours a day.  Check the Live Help link way down at the bottom of this page: http://pages.ebay.com/help/confidence/is...

Whatever you do, do not create a new account.  That's a sure fire way to make sure you never get back on eBay.
