My ear has been ringing for over 12 hours. Is this bad?

It doesn't mean I have a brain tumor or anything does it? haha

What could be causing this?

Have you had a cold recently? Or do you have allergies? If you have then your ears can ring temporarily because of all of the gunk in there. It could also be because of loud noise etc.

If it doesn't improve soon the go and see a doctor but I wouldn't worry about it for a bit.

could be Menier's disease which slowly deteriorates your inner ear nerve and causes occasional ringing, vertigo and can lead to deafness...sorry, I have it.  It could be worse...

I agree; it might just be how loud your pumping up the music

If you cant think of anything like that, i recommend you see a doc.

Haha, no!!

it culd b;

-medications u r taking ( Advil for example)

-Loud music

-Exhaustion

-Ear irritants. Clean them with a q-tip!!

-Heart problems, in some cases!

other then that i dunno! i usually get it when im very tired
