About two years ago I got my ears pierced. A year later I decided I wanted to stretch my ears, I stretched one to 1cm and then I tried to stretch the other one but because its pierced on a 45 degree angel downwards I was unable to stretch it past 6mm (I don't even know how this happened the gun mustn't have been lined up properly) so I closed it back down to a 1mm or whatever. I have tried to close the hole but it wont now because its fully healed. I have tried many "remedies" like rubbing vitamin C oil into it and just leaving it without a piercing for months. My friend suggested getting another piercing just above the original hole and stretching that which I think could be a bad idea...

What do I do I hate having uneven ears and I'm scared I will tear my ear?

PLEASE HELP!!!

  1. I would suggest having it pierced at a larger gauge, basically where the original piercing is, but done properly. You will have to go see a piercer to find out for sure if you can do it with the current piercing you have, but it shouldn't be a problem. It won't heal on it's own because you had the piercing long enough for a full fistula to form.

  2. you don't have many choices. you have to either let them close up and re-pierce, or get it Scalpeled.
