I didn't know if maybe my ears would be stupid with cartilage too. I think I've tried three times with my lobes and it's never worked out. I had my eyebrow pierced and it healed all right (slowly though). Should I get industrials?

  1. Well if you have problems with infections in your ears, you probably shouldn't get an industrial.

As nice as they look, the are painful and very slow healers.  I have a rook and an industrial.  The rook took one week before I could sleep on it, the industrial took 3 months and it still can hurt today if I'm not careful.

Where did you get your lobes done?  If done at a parlor, you shouldn't have an issue.  And if/when you did, you should be able to go back and ask for advise/help with the situation.

The best answer you can get will be from a piercer at a good parlor.  They should be willing to answer questions regarding your piercings and what would be appropriate for you situation.  Take their advise, especially regarding industrials since some ears cannot be pierced with this type of piercing.
