i got my ears pierced almost three weeks ago (my second hole). i cleaned them and i turned them and it never hurt to turn them. recently i haven't been cleaning them as often. i do clean them but i just haven't been as on top of it and i usually turn them because when i'm bored i usually turn them. but i haven't been paying attention to how often i turn them and i went to turn them today and one side was fine, but it hurts to turn the earring on my left ear. is this bad because it didn't hurt me before and now its hurting. it started hurting this morning so i waited and tried turning them again in the afternoon and it still hurt and it still hurts to turn now.

  1. Well you have to think about it.  it takes 6-8 weeks to fully heal.  This was normal for my earrings when i got mine done.  what you should do is use the stuff they gave u to clean them daily or whenever they start to hurt.  its perfectly normal for it to get a little infected.  If you keep an eye on them and make sure to clean them it will go away.  And try not to mess with them too much in the day.

Oh and as a warning make sure u clean them a lot till the pain goes away  because mine filled up with puss because i didnt take care of it.  it was really gross and it hurt.

    hope i helped :)

  2. That's usual for your ear to hurt. That happened to me at first. It's totally normal. This might hurt but it will help: take a cotton swab and put some rubbing alcohol on it and that will kill all the germs and help it not be infected. Hope that helps! :D

  3. uhoohh. it sounds like it may  be getting infected.

keep cleaning out the holee like you were before! try to avoid infection, its yuck aha.=]

  4. clean the area and you might need to remove the earring. Sounds like an infection.
