  1. Yes, contact ebay and change your password report the fake email that stole you identity and every time you get a email from ebay do not click on anything go to your ebay  mailbox and make sure what you received was from ebayl.  A lot of times when you bid on items you will get phishing emails trying to  steal your information.

  2. nope.

  3. what happened to me was that my ebay account got shut down because someone put my e-mail address in and the wrong password. I thought it might have been someone I knew, but I never found out. I have not been able to get my account back up.

The best you could do is remove the item, change your password and report the problem to e-bay and ask not to be charged for that one item listing fee.

I think ebay got so expensive that people are going to do anything to avoid paying those listing fees.

  4. I am an avid ebayer myself.

    My suggestion,

    1) Contact ebay NOW and get them to lock down your account.

    2) If your ebay account is linked to Paypal, disable the link by contacting Paypal.

    3) If your email account has the same password as your ebay account, change it IMMEDIATELY.

    4) Your ebay account can be restored back to you but its going to be troublesome as ebay needs to verify several details.

Do hurry before the hacker do more damage!
