I have an eight-year-old boy who comes home from school and drinks my husband's beer. At first he was only having one a day "because he was thirsty". But yesterday he drank a whole six-pack before we came home from work. He called me a ******** *** **** ****** when I came home, and then he threw up his whole dinner. What can I do?

  1. Since you've obviously known this has been going on from stating that at first it was only one a day, you should have had it out of the house then.  And since you weren't responsible as a parent and left it in the house you deserve to be called every name he called you.  On top of it, what eight year old comes home to stay by himself?  I'm sure this has to be a joke, but if not, I think you may be nominated for parent of the year!

  2. GIRL YOU NEED TO BE REPORTED...THE FIRST TIME YOU HE STARTED DRINKING YOU SHOULD HAVE WOOPED HIS ***.....U NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PRAYYYYYYYYYY HHHHAARRRRRRDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

  3. omg!  take him 2 a doc fast... then to a morgue and ploice station. show him what will happen if he continues, so many kids die from alcohol an drugs every year, dont let him be one. get rid of the alcohol and get counseling for him asap..

im sorry if i seem abrupt, but you are talking about a child that should be playing games, hanging out with friends, ect not this situation..

plz, i beg you to seek help immediately!

  4. This is disturbing... Why is he drinking beer? Thirsty or not he can have water, juice, milk, you name it. A six pack is enough to get m tipsy so that could cause alcohol poising for an 8 year old boy.

  5. tell him now and tell him straight. sit him down and say look alcohol is there for adults so its for dad to drink..dads beer it is forbidden for children to drink beer or any form of alcohol underage and if you catch him doing it again you will punish him.

tell him if hes thirsty he can drink fruit juice, water, soda or anything other than alcohol!!

hide your alcohol so he has no way of getting to it and then he wont b tempted!!

  6. How about not leaving your 8 year old home alone and keeping the beer where he can't get it, like... at the liquor store.

  7. YOU are the one who has been allowing him to drink beer at 8 years old...suck up and deal with the consequences.

  8. The first thing you need to do is to remove the beer from your house!  I don't understand why you let him drink it in the first place.  Buy some of his favorite un-alcoholic drinks so he has more options when he comes home from school.

If that doesn't work then consider getting him consoling because these small things may be the start of an alcoholic life.  Fix things before they get out of control!

  9. lOOK, YOU SHOULDNT BE DOING NOTHING YOUR HUSBAND IS SUPPOSE TO BE DEALING WITH THIS PROBLEM. YOU ALSO NEED TO TAKE HIM TO THE HOSPITAL FOR A BLOOD TEST AND MRA ON HIS CHEST  HIS LIVER CAN BE IN PAIN. GOOD LUCK!

  10. I wouldn't keep any beer in the refrigerator!

I can't believe he even likes it at 8 years old, that's crazy!

    Take him to Dr. Phil

    Good luck

  11. hey as long he isn't drinking your booze....

it could be worse.  at least he's not drinking whisky

  12. You can stop trolling. A eight year old's stomach isn't large enough to hold a six pack plus dinner.

  13. I would suggest that you take your shoe to him.  That is the only thing that is going to work.  He needs to know that you are boss.  Don't be afraid, just take the shoe to him!!

    Good Luck

  14. Your the mom of the year!!!

  15. I really hope you are kidding.  Maybe you could try keeping beer out of the house period?  And why is your 8 yr old home alone anyway?

  16. Your husband needs to handle this, not only is your son not respecting his father, he's stealing, disrespecting his Mother outright and he seriously needs to be put in his place at the bottom of the family's totem pole. If not handled appropriately your situation will only get worse. Let him know you will not accept his behavior and make him earn everything , including his next meal. He is a child and should be treated as an underling and not allowed to run your house. I'm sorry if I sound harsh, Im a single Mother of  two boys, 4 and 10 and would never allow them to step out of line like this. Is there a possibility he has witnessed his father behaving this way?He may be acting out something he's witnessed. Be careful.

  17. Obviously you need to not have alcohol in your home or keep it locked up somewhere.

  18. Stop lieing and get a life it was funny at first but what if someone belive's you ad call's social service's on you? Ha.

  19. This has to stop; he's already thrown up your dinner, and that must have made quite the mess on the carpet. I understand that you love little Marrywana, or Sinep, or Bootum, or whoever the heck it is, but action must be taken. This is undeniable.

    Hope I helped!! xox

  20. U a dumb *** h**l because i wish  my eight year would  say he was thristy and grab a beer u are dumb as h**l as a parent to even allow him to stay home by his self if i only new who u where i would call CHILD SERVICES on YO *** cuz u dont deserve to have a child  this **** is ****** rediculous.. GET this **** staright for u get caught up... MISS LADY... i hate stupid people

  21. That is HORRIBLE. First of all what's an eight year old doing home ALONE? Second of all Y did you let him drink BEER because he was thirsty? Give him some water or fruit juice! Third of all I hope your kidding. Fourth of all GET THE BEER OUTTA THE HOUSE!

  22. Hes 8 he shouldnt be home alone anyway

and you should have the beer locked up

  23. He's not stealing, you let him right?

Good lord, have you got a brain?

Wait, I know you don't b/c you let the kid drink.

Sorry to ask a stupid ?.

  24. Slapetta..you are sooo NOT gonna get the Mother of the Year award this year! You should know better, hon. No brewskis for the kiddos! Geez! I thought we had gone over this before!

  25. Well, for crying out loud, Slappetta, don't let him drink on an empty stomach!  Make sure he has some beer nuts for an afterschool snack, or at least some chips and salsa.  And be sure you're getting BudLight.  You know what a problem childhood obesity is these days!

  26. Well I've found that Coke and Meth have been doing this too. I switched to a "light" beer and they don't like it as much so they only drink one instead of a whole sixer. Oh, and get a smaller nipple size for their bottles, the light beer won't flow as well.

  27. Just beat him with your shoe :)

  28. He can't drink what's not in the house.

Don't bring alcohol into your home.

And contact his doc and AA....he has a drinking problem.

  29. Uhm..Why is your 8 year old kid home alone? That's against the law. And what do you mean only 1 beer? He's not in Sierra Leone or something? Tap water is probobly more in reach to him that the beer is! And have you ever considered taking all beer out of the house? Or maybe getting a mini fridge to put the beer and and put one of those refriegerator locks?

  30. Try getting him onto cider.  Its much cheaper than beer and will save you money in the long run.

  31. What is an 8 year old doing at home unsupervised?  Sounds to me this kid needs to be a foster home.
