Go with vintage..it just looks classier. Get yourself a nice 1970's Harvest Gold or Avocado Green fridge. He'll love it!

I personally have an old GE model that latches on the inside and the outside. I let my son 'play" in it and make him put lotion on his skin. And when I am cooking up a large batch of meth it keeps him outta my hair.

Recently I saw Geraldo on TV , blowing open an old Edison Edsel refrigerator on the mall in Chicago. It was quite a feat. Seems it was found in the basement of a home where Bonnie and Clyde once stayed.After three unsuccessful tries, a sound came from inside the frig. Followed by cursing, yelling, swearing----it was awful. Suddenly the door creaked open and out stepped Tammie Faye Baker and Jimmie Hoffa.Trying to shed a little light on the subject, Jimmie, when asked what he was doing in there so long, replied: "I was just chilling out and Tammie was helping me with my disguise!" So I would opt for the Edison Edsel. It takes a l*****g and keeps on ticking! I just hope Tammie didn't give him the cold shoulder!

I think a good one from the 50's is a good idea. They have the latch and led paint they may even contain asbestos to keep it cooler! He can have a field day with his friends in one of those classics!
