My electric oven is not working?

Electrolux Esomss electric cooker, replaced fan oven element and it's still not working. There's 120 volts going through the element with temp. control when off position but with fan on. As soon as you turn heat control on, the power goes to 0 at element. The old element had earthed out.

Most oven elements are connected in series, so that is why yo are only getting 120 volts. Try replacing the other element.

You've obviously got a real problem here and I think you need to get an electrician in to deal with it. He/she will be able to isolate the problem part witha meter that measures current. You do't want to end up electrocuting yourself or someone else in the house, do you?!
