My email address is showing up on my Yahoo Profile, I have tried deleting it to no avail, HELP!?

It does show up in your Yahoo profile, but not in your Yahoo Answers profile. The Yahoo profile is the one that is used for email and which is maintained as long as you have a Yahoo account.

No, it is not showing in your Yahoo profile. At least not in the public view of that profile (sign out and then look at your profile - or click on the text that says "public view of my profile").

go to your profile then edit profile and scroll down and click "no do not display my e-mail address"
