My email page has suddenly become my home page even tho it is not designated as home page.How can I fix this?

It started after yahoo installed chat on the email. have deleted temp files and cookies and restarted but it still becomes top tab when I sign in.

Perhaps any adware tracker or malware has changed the registry settings of your browser.

Click Tools>>Internet Options>>"General" tab

click "Use Default" and type "http://www.yahoo.com" (without quotes) if you want to make Yahoo! as your home page

click "Apply" and "OK".

Now close your browser and re-open it again,if Yahoo! loads then it's ok,if it still navigates to other web pages then scan your entire system with a potential anti-spyware-adware-malware updated and fix infections if any.

Go to internet options under the tools menu. When you click on it, a page opens where you will see various options including your homepage. You can make the needed changes and save. Exit, close the browser and restart. You should see the preferred page as the home page.

what happened was that you did not uncheck the box that saud make yahoo myy home page. now i now PC's and i do not know macs. If it is a PC then go into the top right corner and pick settings, or go into tools and pick  internet options. a large box in the middle will have your current homepage highlitted, so just sart typing what you want you Homepage to be.

go to page you want as your home page.

click on tools

click on internet options, usually last on list, and then click on use current..

thats it
