My embarassing step mom?

My parents are divorced, and my dad re-married like 2 years ago to a Pakistani woman. She's nice and everything but she's not very smart. She has lived here for like 20 years now but her english is still realllly bad and she doesn't know anything about Americans. She's probably one of the most embarassing parents of all time. I've just started living with my dad so I've started noticing it more. Any advice on this? Thanks x

It is very hard to move into a completely different culture.  Even though she has lived here a long time, she may need help learning english.  She is nice and your dad loves her, help her to fit in.  She may be much smarter than you think. Please don't hurt her feeling by putting her down.

This is the woman that your father married, be nice and respectful to her, even though she has cultural differences, maybe help her speak better English to begin with
