  1. It might be under waiting list queue.

    - There are quite a few applications which are under waiting queue and USCIS will take decision on it quickly.

  2. Just because your employer filed does not mean your application was successful. Although in saying this, it does not mean that your application was rejected either, things take time.

    However if your application was rejected, no money will be refunded.

  3. The allotment for 2008 visas in the H1-b category has been filled.  Just because an employer applies does not mean the application will be accepted.  You have been rejected and are not getting a visa for 2008.  Apply for jobs in your own country.

  4. Since the employer is the petition, the Receipt Notice will go to your employer address. Check with your employer if they have RN.

  5. If you have not received a receipt notice from USCIS then call them. If you have  then go to WWW.USCIS.GOV case status online and sign up to get email update notice.
