My employer has deposited Adv. I.Tax of Rs 4290 insted of 796 against TAN No ALDH00451D tell me refund of 3494

My employer has deducted advance I.tax of Rs 4290 insted of 796 actual I Tax amount as per form 16. The amount of advance of I.Tax of Rs4290 has been deposited to I.Tax dept. against company TAN No. ALDH00451D(Paid on 25/09/07 and 14/11/07)

kindly give me reply for return of excess paid of advance I.Tax of Rs3494 . How should i get refund of above amount?

On Form 16, it will appear as TDS deducted. Now you MUST file your income tax return. On the return, you will have a refund.
