My escort van has a knocking coming from the front left?

Could it be the shocker? Someone said it has a bearing that might have collapsed. Could this be whats causing it?If not what could it be?

  1. It could be the shocks or the bearing but you should check your steering rack as they make as lot of noise if worn.


  2. If it happens mostly while turning it is probably the cv joint.
