  1. Push the cable IN and then pull.

You may need to giggle the cable a bit and make sure there are no knots in the cable.

Try also applying pressure on the tab closest to the port. You can use some force if it really won't come out. The worst case scenario is the cable snaps.

  2. Use the force Luke.

  3. My ethernet cord is doing the exact same thing to me right now!!!! i had never put one in before and i just did two days ago and i cannot get it out! i have tried sticking something down into the socket thing (like one comment said to use a screwdriver) but it did not work. Nothing is working!!! HELP!!!!

  4. i would really need to see the system to be for sure

but i would say that it is stuck on a wire on the inside (that can be fixed after you get it out) and would sugest to try to pull it out there is not much there you could break but the cord so you should be ok to remove it

after you get it out look ai both the cord and the plug on the laptop to see if every thing is ok

have you used this cord before

if so i would try a different one next time to see if it does the same thing

  5. Use a very small s***w driver and press down on the release catch in the middle ontop of the ethernet plug, pull it at the same time your pressing down on the release catch.
