We do not have a child support order because we have the children equally but now he is leaving for a few months and I am not sure how much, if any child support I should ask for.

  1. you are just making it difficult for no reason...if it was 6 months that would be sum thing. ask him 2 give you sum money on the side 2 help out while he is gone.

  2. If you two get along and share the children equally don't start being petty over little things.  You could always ask him if he could help out a little while he is gone but truth is you have joint custody and no child support so you'd have to take him back to court to get it ordered.........

Also, getting along with an ex when kids are involved can make a world of difference now and in the future.  Just ask him if he can help a little on the side while he is gone or maybe do something to make up for it when he gets back.........work it out the between the two of you the best you can and good luck.
