I want to now if is possible for a married man who dont live with the wife to adopt a child.we started living together when my daugther was 1 now shes 8.

I don't quite understand... you want your ex to adopt the child that's only yours?

I'm not sure, since you are separated, that he can...

not sure what you are asking but if the husband is the father of 1 child then there is no reason that he needs to adopt that child.  if your asking can he adopt the other children only if the other father signs over parental rights.
