My ex girlfriend put an order of protection against me, but she didnt show up in court what will happen now?

i didnt go to court neither cause it was stated that i didnt have to, unless i wanted to appeal the order of protection but she been contacting me.. will i get locked up? for not going to court or will she?

  2. you have an order of protection against you. Keep a distance until she dismisses the order. You will be arrested.

  3. it all depends what the judge ordered while no one was there.  if there is an order of protection you will get in trouble even if she is calling you

  4. No one will get locked up for not going to court.

    Go to the county court and check the disoposition of this court filing she made. For all you know she had an attorney or county social worker go in her place and won the restraining order against you without appearing. In some cases they will dismiss the case if neither party shows up.  Also if she files through County services an councelor from the county could have represented her side in the case. My advice is research it and confirm what took place in court. It may not have made it on the calendar at all if it was a no show. If she took the time to file, there will be a record of it.
