My ex got aggressive with me and he got an assault charge he also has prior assault charges wats ?

i dont know where u live but in the UK that sounds like a common assault charge.  If he has previous it will depend how long back they were but in my experience, common assaults are not the most serious form of assaults so he is most likely to get a medium communtiy penalty which would comprise of unpaid work and supervision within the community.  he would also have to attend a Domestic Violence Programme.
