My ex is getting married?

ex and i broke up the end of january. both moved on. early march comes around, shes already getting married. and by all means, i'm not in love with her anymore. but its killing me. i promised id stay around and be her friend, like i promised from the beginning of the relationship, but everything she says is either about him or her getting married. i do want her to be happy, as i am

why is it bothering me so much?

my current girlfriend say shes understands, that shed feel the same way if her ex did it, but then she turns around and gets mad at me for letting it get me upset.

For your own good, IMHO, put some serious distance between you and the ex.  There is no need to keep in regular contact, promise be dammed if it doesn't feel good.  Your gf understands but also the other issue is you being ticked off which might be making her feel a bit intimidated or confused - why should it bother you if you're happy in your new relationship with her?  that's a reasonable question to ask I think.

It's killing you because deep down maybe you haven't processed all of that relationship yet since you have strong reactions.  Perhaps you're uncomfortable with it cos you have to accept that your ex has moved on more than you?  Check your ego, shake it off, be grateful for what you have which sounds like a pretty nice new gf and send a card to your ex to congratulate her and consider putting both your name and your new gf's name on the card.

Well maybe, u might have just some feeling for her and ur just a little jealous. Dont worry hun you'll get over it. You shoud just b with ur wonderful gf now!
