My ex sent me this message. Was my response right?

He sent me a text asking me if I had a pair of his sneakers at my house. I responded "No, just some ..." and listed some other items he had here. Was my response right? Was he looking for something else? After that, we didn't text b/c I didn't send anything else, so I'm thinking it was okay. For some reason I was wondering if he wanted me to say something else ...

If you want back with him, bag up his stuff and call and tell him it's ready for him to pick up and when he gets there, ask him if he wants to be back with you or not.

no u did a right thing. he asked u and u answered. bein specific is good sometimes. plus he doesn seem to wan anytin more than tht so yea.. there is alwais a reason y he cudn make it to be ur present but not ex.

lolz "no just some..." not the best choice of words for that situation. Of course maybe he just wanted to kno if they were over there, but he could have wanted a reason to see u or whatever there are alot of possibilities within calling someone for shoes lolz. but the main one is maybe he just wanted to kno if u had his shoes. If u 2 broke up in a huge argument he could have expected some cussin and yellin, but maybe he just wanted a simple yes no answer. IDK.

don't overanalyze anything! It's leads you to worry about the relationship irrationally.

look, he probably just asked for his sneakers.  But the whole point is..stop trying to figure out what he wants..becuase it will never work.  I learned that a while ago with all females...if you spend all your time trying to figure out what they're thinking..you end up going insane worrying about the relationship and where it's going rather than just letting it FLOW.  

So, who cares if he meant anything else..if you want him to come over..ask him!!

If you think he meant something else like "oh are my shoes around there? mind if i come take a look??"..then just ask him if he wanted to swing by and take a look...if he's into you and wants to see you he just might do that..if he was just looking for his shoes then he might pass!
