My ex told me that she dated me cuz she had no self esteem. is that an insult?

wat the **** was her problem? did she basically say that only women who have no pride date me?

It is an insult.She was basically saying that she could do much better,but felt desperate and decided to settle for less. Maybe she was lonely.either way, when females do that it means that they feel as though you're borderline average,or just close to being ugly.That's her problem though.she's the one with low self-esteem,not you!

yea that is in a way, but your the only one who knows what really happen. Maybe you made her feel like sh**, and she is getting you back. If not then that's saying you have issues of your own to take care of. Personally just do you and move on. Get your self together and do what you do, because not every body is that one person there is some one out there that will like you for who you are.

She probably meant you are pushy and controlling and she didn't have the gumption to reject you at first. Obviously the two of you weren't meant for each other. In a way, you may have helped her acquire the backbone she previously lacked. She only spoke for herself, not for all women. But there are still some lessons you can learn from this. Will you learn them? Or will you just sulk?

It was just a "cheap shot" by her.  Take it like that and go on.  Comments like that aren't worth the time or trouble to "figure them out".
