  1. sure, you can complain, but i suggest you either go to another facility or with another instructor. you can always ask for a different instructor/examiner to preform the test.

  2. yes you can appeal against the decision, i know some friends who have tried it. i dont think it makes them change their decision but they do something about it. most examiners are idiots anyway with most of them needing a career change. speed limit is there for a reason thats what i was taught

  3. ABSOLUTELY!!! Go to the supervisor, and state exactly what you said above. However, you also realize that you can be failed for going too slow, right? But, if the examiner demaned you exceed the speed limit and you refused, you don't deserve to be failed, you deserve a medal!

  4. Go back when she's not working and try again.

  5. If she failed you for disobeying an order to break then la, then you have a legitimate complaint against this person.  However, it will be your word against hers.

  6. You can complain, but I'm not sure how much good it will do. You have three chances to pass.

Are you sure she wanted you to go over the speed limit, or just to speed up? If you're going too slow, you can be a traffic hazard, which is even more dangerous than speeding. If everyone on the road is going 60 in a 55, and someone is puttering along at 50 or 52 MPH, they’re creating a hazardous situation, and can cause a collision. Operating a car is not just about blindly obeying the rules of the road, but also about paying attention to the conditions around you and operating your vehicle accordingly. If a driver is not comfortable going 55 or so MPH in traffic, then that person really shouldn’t be driving at all – they may understand the mechanics and the rules, but they’re not a capable, qualified driver.

It’s like understanding the rules of a game, and understanding the mechanics, but just not being any good at the game. Think about baseball. Most people know the rules, and most people have a general understanding of the mechanics (how to hold the bat, how to swing, even when to swing), but not everyone is really good at baseball. Practice can make a person better, but certain people will just always be better than others. The same goes for driving, but the difference is that in baseball, if you’re not good, you lose the game. In driving, if you’re not good, you can kill people.

Practice driving more, and when you feel really comfortable behind the wheel, go for your test again.

  7. Yeah, maybe a complain saying that the examiner makes people very nervous with her attitude. Heck, anybody gets nervous when there's somebody yelling at them in the ear.

  8. Yes. You can file a complaint with the Dept of Motor Vehicles.

  9. I know you need proof but start off by telling her supervisor.

  10. as long as you were going the speed limit i would definitely complain. go take the test again, request another examiner and pass the test. good luck
