My extremely sick newborn baby cousin?

Question

Long story short, My baby cousin had to be born 2 months early because of a heart problem. He was unstable and now he is stable. You can't touch him because then he gets so worked up he can't breathe. He just had open heart sugary today. He is ok for now.

What do you think his chances are? =/

I am not a doctor,so I can't say what his chances are. But,I pray for your precious cousin and I hope that he gets well soon and that the doctors can fix his heart problem permanently. No child,especially a newborn baby should have to fight for their life. You,your cousin and your family are in my prayers

I can't say what his chances are, but I can tell you that there are some amazing NICU doctors that can do amazing things.  My cousin was born at 26 weeks almost 22 years ago, and she is a normal young woman.  I have a friend who had twins born at 29 weeks (one with a heart condition), and now they are 18 months old.  I think if the doctors didn't think there was a good chance for your cousin to survive they wouldn't have put a baby that young through open heart surgery.  I will say lots of prayers for him.  :-)

I think that's impossible for any of us to say, but  I will say a prayer for him, and wish the best!! I hope he is well soon!!

I think his chances are decent. I was born 3 months early and I'm 14 and going strong (except for a dew medical conditions)

Modern medicine can do pretty amazing things. =)
