My eye color is changing to an odd color!?

Question

Well, my natural eye color is steel gray with some medium shade blue in them. But a few days ago I noticed that they started changing color...Now about 5 days later; my irises are almost completely...PURPLE!!! It is completely insane! I never knew that purple could be an eye color!

AlIright, well my 1st theory is that since I'm 15 and since that's kind of young, i thought that it might be like when lets say...when a kitten is born, its eyes might be a teal blue until it is about 2-3 months old and then its eyes change green.

Although my vision is perfectly fine and I feel no pain or discomfort, I'm worried that I might have an eye problem.

Oh its nothing wrong with your eye. it just means that your eyes might change colors. Like a cousin of mine...her eyes are gray and some time they change to blue and back to green.  Its a mood thing with her....it might be for you....

anyways, i don't think you should worry that much if you can still see perfectly.

if you still feel uneasy about your eyes changing colours a lot, go to the eye doctor!

Eyes typically change colors and you probably haven't noticed it until now. I have blue eyes, but sometimes they turn grey in color. My sister has brown eyes, but sometimes they turn green in color. You're ok.  The other answerer is right: that's pretty cool to have such pretty eyes!
