My eye dried with my contact still on?

i had my contacts on for about for about 15 hours, and i got in the shower and 2 minutes into the shower, i realized i still had my contacts on. so i get out all wet still, and rushed to take them off. i got my right eye contact off smoothly without any problems, and the left eye i saw that it was dry and my contact was still on, so i tried to remove it like i usually do, but it was stuck on my eyeball, so i poured sterile water, and finally the sterile contact solution, so i finally slid the contact off and i noticed my eye was really red, im just very glad i didnt rip anything. is there anything i can do to prevent this from happening again? any tips? thanks=]

Your eye was really dry, you should only wear your contacts about 8 hours a day. Try hydroclear contacts. You should have an extra pair of glasses when your at home doing nothing so your eyes can breath.

use eyedrop lst before removing.
