My eye hurts but doesn't look bad?

I usually wear contacts but this morning I woke up and it felt kind of bruised for some reason so I just put on my glasses. It's NOT pussing, bloodshot, or swollen it just feels bruised. Anyone have any idea what it is and how I can treat it? I would wear my glasses all day but I have a yoga class tonight and it's hard wearing glasses when you're bending over all the time.

My guess is that you have a sty in your eye. That is when you get a staph infection in one of your eyelash folicles. Your eye doesn't have to be red or swollen to have this pain. But describing it as a "bruised" feeling is just how I would describe a sty. In the next few days you may actually see where it is red on your upper or lower lid. It might be very subtle though.
