will admit im on the computer a fair bit. Not constantly though, I used to wear glasses since I was 5 until I was 12. Then the optomitrist said I had something like 20/15 vision. (I think)

anyways aparently I dident need glasses.

Anyways so life went on but from about the past year now, I just dont seem to think I have 20/15 vision. I can read 2ml sized writing clearly when its about13 and a half centimetres away up to about 60 cm away(and thats really clearly, even then I can give it up to a few more cm and stil lread it, just have to squint a bit. and I asked my friends to read some things in the class rooms, and we have about the same vision.

Another thing.. Is this normal when u turn of a light in a room theres a bit of sparlkes of some sort, or like a bit of light, barley noticible if ur not looking out for it. Its real hard to explain, bare with me. Sometimes, Ill just out of the blue, and very rarley get a sparkle of light, kinda like glitta in make up, please anwser.

  2. Don't know what to say about the 20/15 vision. Those are general numbers, and they mean that at a distance of 20 feet you see what normal people see like at 15 feet. Your near vision may be different than your distance, and without an eye exam there is no sure way to answer that question.

The more concerning issue is the flashing lights. There may be some residual image of the light in the room after turning it off, but flashes and sparkles could also indicate retinal damage. Not to scare you, but you should go and see the optometrist about this as soon as possible. If there is a problem, the odds of being able to correct decrease with time. It's better to be safe than sorry in this case because your vision is priceless and cannot be replaced.
