For a few hours, the corner of my eye by my nose has been twitching (best word I could think of) It's getting kind of annoying. Is there something wrong with my eye? I asked this before but only got one answer.

  1. I have heard that it is a sign of a lack of circulation in the head more importantly in the brain.  It could be a sign that death is near.

  2. the same thing is happening 2 mine i dont know what it is

  3. It sounds like a nervous tic.  I get them sometimes and they go away eventually.

  4. hey i've had that beforrrre. it wuz really annoying. a while back. i have no idea why though, sorry.

omgggg ignore the person above me. bull!

  5. Some combination of stress, fatigue and excess caffeine are usually the culprits here... While it's annoying to you it's very unlikely anyone else notices it.  It will stop on it's own eventually, but try to gets lots of rest and drink lots of water.

  6. nerve twitch.thats all.

  7. The "death is near" dude is an ******.  He gets, two points for that, show's you how much he cares.  I'm telling you, get a good nights sleep, and see if it's still happening in the AM.  It happens to me randomly and then goes away, and I really think it's fatique, too much computer, etc.l  Give yourself a rest and then just see what happens.  I know that it is really annoying.....

  8. Sometimes stress but more than likely you may not be getting enough sleep.  As long as it isn't persistent (going on constantly for over a month), it should be fine.  If you are concerned, see an eye doctor.  Not to scare you, but it could involve the facial nerve.

  9. Well, it could be because you're reading too much or watching too much TV or else doing anything that causes too much stress to your eye. Everyone has one dominant eye, just like a dominant hand. So maybe the twitching eye is the dominant eye that has been quite stressed due to what you are watching/seeing/reading/. The nerves of that eye is doing the twitching btw. To stop it from twitching, you should stare outside for about a minute, and try not to do anything stressful. Try putting cucumbers or potato slices over your eyes.
